Stoic Media respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Stoic Media uses any data and information you may provide through the Stoic Media Solution. Generally, Stoic Media will not make your Identifying Information available to third parties without your consent, subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms have the meaning given to them in the Stoic Media Terms of Service, which is available at Terms of Service.

Information We Collect:

Entities that register to use our Solution will be required to provide us with certain Identifying Information. Stoic Media may also collect or have access to certain Identifying Information regarding end users of websites that make use of the Stoic Media Solution. Stoic Media also collects any Identifying Information contained in any message that you may send to Stoic Media.“Identifying Information” means information that can be directly associated with a specific individual or entity such as a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or information about activities directly linked to an individual, such as the browsing habits of such individual. Stoic Media may receive the internet addresses of users that browse websites that make use of the Solution. In addition, Stoic Media may receive Identifying Information from websites that register to use the Solution.

In addition, the Solution may gather information regarding the system and browsing activity of users of websites that incorporate the Solution, such as the device type, operating system and browser of such users or how a user interacted with the Site and advertisements on such Site. For example, the Solution may gather information regarding the clicks of end users on elements of the Site or elements of a Site viewed by the end user.

How we Use Information:

We may use Identifying Information internally – for example, to help diagnose problems with our servers, to make the Solution more useful, to customize and personalize the Solution and make it more engaging.

In addition, by analyzing all the information we receive, including all the information concerning use of the Solution and the browsing habits of end user of websites that incorporate the Solution, we may compile anonymous statistical information (“Statistical Information”). Statistical Information helps understand trends and customer needs. Statistical Information is anonymous. We may share such Statistical Information with our partners, without restriction, on commercial terms that we can determine in our sole discretion.

Information of EU residents:

We do not collect from EU residents any information that can be used to identify them individually (e.g. name, IP address, email etc.). All information we collect from EU residents is on a de-identified and aggregated basis. We rely on IP blocks in order to classify EU residents and therefore if you use a proxy or any other service that masks, reroutes or changes your IP we may not know that you are an EU resident and not apply this to you. Please do not use such tools when interacting with our Solution.

How we Protect Information:

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Identifying Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Identifying Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Except as described above, Stoic Media is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites or third party advertisements to which we link. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of each website and advertiser before providing them with Identifying Information. We cannot be held responsible for any third-party websites or advertisers.

Other Uses or Transfer of Your Information:

We will fully cooperate with any law

enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity, behavior or digital content of any user suspected to have engaged in illegal or infringing behavior.

We may use subcontractors that are located in countries other than your own, and send them information we receive. For example, we may send your information to any countries outside the United States or the European Economic Area. Nevertheless, some countries may have levels of protection of personal and other information which are not as high as in your country of residence or business.

We may transfer our databases containing your Identifying Information if we sell our business or part of it.

Third party data collection:

Our service may incorporate the services of third parties that engage in interest-based advertising (e.g. recommendations powered by Outbrain Inc.; opt out available here).
